I've known John since I was 5 years old, he was a WONDERFUL stepfather. I admired his love for my mom, Connie so much and he was truly the dad I never had. He treated me as if I were his own daughter and that meant more to me than life itself. He had no problem expressing how much he cared. I remember anytime I saw him in the halls of Wayne and sports games and such - he had an infectious smile and bright blue eyes. Heartfelt condolences to his family.

John lived with our family during a spell in my high school years. He and Connie were dating back the in the early 80´s. So married seven yrs but he spent a lifetime loving her. Cousin John was always know as Big John and it´s was more his heart and compassion that were Big!! Although he wasn´t small in size till the last few yrs when life dealt him some hard health issues. I wanted to say how very sorry I was to hear of Johns passing. I can say that I never saw him (in high school) were he didnt have that wonderful smile shining out to all of us. I am so glad that I was able to see him at our last reunion. I know he will be missed by many.
