Not sure what to say?

To say that the world was made a much better place by Mr. John Ferrick is an understatement. I so appreciated his enthusiasm for life and shared his deep love for baseball. His dedication to youth
sports in Petaluma (particularly women's softball) meant a great deal
to those of us who were lucky enough to spend time on the ball field with him! A great man.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Ferrick. I am so sorry for your loss. It is difficult to speculate the amount of people who have become better individuals as result of Mr. Ferrick's influence in their lives. As a student at Petaluma High School I often looked to Mr. Ferrick for guidance. I recall my 4 years at PHS being somewhat challenging for me as I was no longer a child although not yet an adult. As my counselor, Mr. Ferrick was always there for me to assist with any...

Terri and I extend our deepest sympathies to the Ferrick family. As a colleague of John's at Petaluma High for many years, I saw his sincerity and how much he cared for the youngsters he worked with on a daily basis. A devoted father and energetic spirit, he might have been the #1 Oakland A's fan I've ever known. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Ferrick family and all those touched by him. I owe every success in my adult life to the encouraging words of Mr. Ferrick. He always took the time to understand the extreme circumstances in my life and helped me to see there was a way out. He was a friend and mentor and will be forever remembered as the kind and considerate man he strived to be.

There really aren't enough words to say how wonderful a man Mr. Ferrick was. High school was made tolerable, and my drivers license possible, because of him. He will be missed. My sincerest sympathy to his family.

I would like to express my sincere
sympathy to all of John's family.
Working with him at Petaluma High was a pleasure. He could always make me smile and laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.
I am in Carmichael visiting my new grandson for a week so I will be unable to attend the services.
