I just read about John's passing in the mountain of papers I was catching up on at long last. What a great guy he was!
I remember the time, probably in the 70s, when he came in to my first grade when we were doing our "wild west" unit and showed my cherubs about panning for gold. They really, really enjoyed it.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Feterl's passing. He was one of my favorite teachers at CHS. I will miss seeing him at Midas. He taught me so much.

I will remember him as the living definition of a gentleman. He was theology wrapped in simplicity and practicality. On Christmas morning we said Psa. 23 together. To me he affirmed his faith in Jesus. He was my friend on earth; he will be my friend in heaven. B.F. McClerren
