Not sure what to say?

I grew up in Richmond Hill in the era when doctors came to the house. Dr. Finneran was a kind and fine physician and I am in awe of the size of his family and that he lived long and well. May he know in the community of saints that he was much valued by many of us, even a little girl at the time like me. Blessings always. Fanny Wilson Erickson

HE WAS OUR FAMILY DR. FOR MANY YEARS WHEN I WAS A KID, I GREW UP IN RICHMOND HILL, QUEENS NY. HAD NO IDEA HE PASSED AWAY 2014, AFTER HE RETIRED, THOUGHT HE PASSED A FEW YEARS AFTER THAT, DID NOT KNOW HE MOVED TO IOWA. SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. JEFF COSTIGAN.

Deepest sympathy. From Joe finneran Taughmaconnnell Roscommon Ireland. My dad is also named John Finneran and had an uncle John in the US. I am half a twin and other half is a sister Rebecca.

My sympathy to the Finneran family. My Mom was a patient of Dr Finneran many many years ago. I will keep the Doctor and his family in my prayers. Sincerely Mary E Johnson

From all the Finneran in Ireland rip

My deepest sympathies to the entire Finneran family.
The number of times Dr. Finneran showed his kindness to the Schneider family are too numerous to mention.
He was a fine man, and an even better doctor. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely, Jim Schneider

When other doctors told me grandparents that my dad (at age 14) was making up his pain to get out of going to school, Dr. Finneran took my Dad seriously, realized his appendix was bursting and saved him. Thank you Dr. Finneran for being the reason my Dad lived on to become a wonderful father. My condolences to your big, beautiful family. Glad to know you lived such a long life.

It was 1958 and I had fallen off of the stone wall in Forest Park. Dr. Finneran made a house call and sent me to the hospital. I remember coming to the Finneran family after midnight mass Christmas 1964 and learning how a loving caring family behaved. Deepest sympathies

May the Lord grant eternal peace to my uncle and his family and reward him for his goodness. I was trying to imagine how many thousands of babies Uncle Jack delivered during the years of his medical practice. Amazing!
Consolations to all those who loved him.
His nephew,
Ernest
