Not sure what to say?

, I am so sad to hear of your loss. John was a wonderful human being and a superb attorney. I can't even begin to understand how much you, his family will miss him. Rest in peace John.

John handled my divorce over 30 years ago. He was a champion of womens rights before it was fashionable. He was a terrific strategist, great on his feet and a truly wonderful lawyer and person.

To Barbara and all the family, I have wonderful memories of John. My sincere sympathy.

Louis Pashman.

All of the tributes were amazing at the service. John did love his sports and amongst his own accolades were his winning the 1955 Plainfield City championship by him striking out the sides in relief with the bases loaded and the Basketball championship against Dunellen when he stole an inbounds pass and dribbled out time. REMEMBER DUNELLEN.

So very sorry for this terrible loss!

John Finnerty was one of the best men and lawyers I have ever met. He helped me through one of the hardest times of my life and did so with love and compassion. I will never forget him or what he did for me and my children. His legacy will live on in my familys memories and heart. Rest in peace John & until we meet again!

John was the same in the court-room as he was on the public streets. And, now, he has achieved immortality in the songs of bards and barristers.
Barbara, Haley, Lindsay, this loss is tremendous and I am sorry for the pain you must endure. May God comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. And, let us say Amen.
With a saddened heart,
Terri Kirshner
