As a former resident of Vernon, I want to express my sympathy and know I will keep you in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.

In the very short 17 years of John's life here on earth, he succeeded in touching so many hearts and influencing the lives of so many people. His energy, his smile, his zest for life will forever remain in the souls of everyone blessed with the chance to have known him. Although John may not remember me, i did play football with him during my senior year, he was a freshmen. From what i recall he always seemed to have a smile on his face, and most of the time the others around him did as well. John was a part of the football family, and the point i'm trying to make is that the family will never die. I am so sorry about the passing of your dear son John. Why the young have to go so soon I'll never know. But my heartfelt sympathies go with you and your family.
