Not sure what to say?

When I drive streets that John and I drove memories flood back. He was a true friend! He would kid me about my like for Mustangs. Well, I still have one and I wish that we could go for rides together. I always look for the Barber Shop that we would go to. Lots of miles, lots of time, lots of cherished memories! He is truly my twin brother from a different Mother!!

Susan,
I have thought so much about you and how hard this must be for you but also how happy you must be for John and then I learned first hand how you were feeling. My mom, that I've been taking care of in our home, passed away just 4 days after John on the 8th. It is very bitter sweet. I'm sorry we weren't there in person to support you but I hope you know that you're in my heart. Take care and I love you and We loved John. A good good man that will be missed!

I had the opportunity to work with John at Taylorsville City. My memories of him are ones of kindness and decency. You will be missed sir.

I enjoyed working with John as a S. L. Co. Deputy Sheriff, he was a dedicated officer. I always liked talking with him about England and our military experiences....R.I.P. Sir John.....

John was a great friend, we were often called, “twin brothers from different mothers”. Actually, it was Susan and I that were the “twins from different mothers”. We were both born on the same day, same year, but 1700 miles apart. For years John and I rode to work together while in the Utah Army National Guard. He had cassette tapes of 60’s music. We would sing at the top of our lungs and had many fun times together. Our youngest son is named Ian Stuart. Ian is John in Gaelic. He always liked...

What a great life John lived and enjoyed his family so much. He was a dedicated man to his country, family and church. He did a great job at anything he did. Susan and his family supported him to the end. See you later John! Prayers for all!! Love Lee and Judy Evans

Dearest Sue and Jenny, Stu, Jess, Jalee: my heart is with you at this tender time. I have missed you all during these many years. I so treasure those memories as neighbors on 4850. Your family still means so much to me and mine. I pray you may be blessed to enjoy the Lord’s spirit to buoy you up during this difficult time. So grateful to Jesus Christ who makes the sting of death go away. John has graduated from mortality and I’m sure will await your joyous reunion. Love you all, Tammy Oldham
