Not sure what to say?

Hello Dad,

While you were resting in your casket, people came from all over, the South and the North, the East and the West to pay their final respect. Amazing how many friends you have and how much you are loved!

I want to express my sincere gratitude to have known you in this life and I want to thank you for accepting me for "who" I am, not for "what" I am. But mostly I want to thank you for giving me my partner and the love of my life, my wife Sharon.

May you rest in...

Barbara, Patty, Kathy, Sharon and Family,
The legend of Jack Fitzgerald will live on in all of our stories, and in our hearts. I will always remember him with a huge smile on his face, and that twinkle in his eye! He was a dedicated husband, father, and friend, and gave selflessly to his church and community. We were all so fortunate to have had him in our lives.
We'll be thinking of you and praying that you find comfort in the cherished memories of the happy times spent...

To the Fitzgerald Family,
My Mom, Betty Griffin, and I wish to extend our sympathy on your loss. Jack was my Dad's childhood friend (Jack Griffin) and he was also the Best Man at their wedding (1948). I remember a few stories my Dad told of their youth. We hope your memories are fond and often. God Bless him.

Dear Barbara and Family:
So sorry to learn of Jack's passing. He was one of a kind, a unique individual who had friends of high and low estate, but, if he had to, would probably choose the latter. Always with a smile, and a wry sense of humor, it was a pleasure to be in his company, whatever the setting. He is now in God's great universe somewhere, probably hoisting a glass with Steve Joyce and Joe Matthews, and his other buddies who have gone before us, telling stories, some of them...

To Barbara and Girls:
I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of Jack. He was a great man. I remember him at so many "Tremble" functions. I am sure he will be greatly missed but will "live" in your hearts forever.
Love Eileen

A true loss in all wakes of life. He was such a professional as an attorney, and the consummate human being. A teriffic guy! Condolences to the entire family.

Jack,

To one of the great ones! On behalf of the entire Joyce family GOD BLESS you. Your kindness, love, dedication to your family and friendship was unique and I always admired you. Many of us when asked where we grew up would say Wilbraham then we would always ask did you ever meet Jack Fitz regardless we started with the stories of this wonderful man.... How lucky and proud we were to know you.

I just learned of your passing and it brings great sadness to me and my...

To all of the family Sorry for your loss. Your dad and grandpa was a very respected kind man loved by many. Remember seeing his smiling face in church. And standing on the side lines cheering Laura and Jamie at basketball games. Thinking of you. Holly and Kevin Dorsey and family
