My happiest boyhood memories (back in the 1950's) were of playing baseball with Fitzy every day over at Springfield College in 90 degree weather or even with snow on the ground along with Zeke and Ollie. Wow, could Fitzy hit that ball a long way! He always loved the Red Sox, that's for sure. Hey, Fitz. Can you believe the Red Sox won four world series in our lifetime? Thanks for the memories, Fitz. Sorry for your loss. I remember " Fitzy " growing up. He and my brother John were great fiends. They both loved baseball, Red Sox and Ted Williams. He will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace dear friend.
