Not sure what to say?

John was my neighbor for 30+ years and we always helped each other out whenever we could. He was an absolute pleasure to be around. Ellie and John were very happy together and I feel badly that I didn't see John at the end. What a great guy...and a great couple

John: If you were still living at and taking care of the project house on Sayre, the fence would be re-painted and you would be planning the 5th out building and where to put it. We had so much fun talking about your projects and it was your personality that made it that way. I really miss laughing with you.

I just found out that my good friend and former neighbor died in October of 2018. John was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and I wish I had kept in touch with him more than an occasional visit. Last we spoke he told me he had gotten by with a bout of cancer and felt good. I have lost a good friend and hope Ellie can forgive me for not knowing of this loss until now. John, you were one of the best people I have ever met and I will miss out times together. Bob Jacobsen

Another year goes by and I still think about John. Still miss the times we had at work and at leisure.

Dear family, I just found out about this today. Our extreme condolences to you all. I worked with John at O'hare for many years. A kind and gentle person and well liked by all. He also had a great sense of humor. We too will miss him. Peter and Maria Jovanovic and family.

To John's family: It was an absolute pleasure to work with John for many years at ORD. Always smiling and upbeat, never waivering in his support of his co-workers. Always proud of his family. It is an honor to have known him and call him friend. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn," strengthen you during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1, 2.

Dear Deb, Shawn, Paige and the rest of your family, so sorry to hear about John's passing, he was always great to see and chat with at family and neighborhood gatherings over the years. What a gentleman. We're thinking about you guys and offer out sincere condolences and prayers.

John

A person couldn't ask for a better friend than you. Throughout our years you were always there for me. You will be dearly missed.

Good bye old friend
