Dear Becky, Sarah and Monica: Jack was the most wonderful person and will be extremely missed by everyone. Our most fun Spokane times were with Jack. Our love to all of you. Mary and Addison Appleby

Becky, Penn, Barney, Sarah and Monica,
I was so sorry to hear about the death of "Mr. Fix". He was such a big part of my life while growing up on "Upper Terrace". He was always so kind to ALL of the neighborhood kids... It seems only yesterday we were swimming in your pool.
I enjoyed running into him when visiting Spokane and strolling down memory lane...such a nice guy!
I know all of you will miss him terribly and with good reason...he was such a gentle and caring soul.

Jack and our father, Del Carter, were business friends for many years. He was admired and treated our small business well. We were honored to have worked with and to have known Jack. Our condolences to Penn, Barney and the Family. Fred and Michael Carter.

We would lament...

The world has lost an extraordinary man and an amazing friend. He will be missed by all he touched with his kind and gentle heart. Our love to Becky and family, The Conklins

Soon, Sara discovered she had left her electric curlers at the hotel. Around midnight, here came Jack Fix with her curlers! All the doors were locked and we could not leave the room, so he ended up handing Sara her curlers through our room window. My bed was under the window, so I was introduced to Mr. Fix, my first...

Dear Becky, Monica, Sara, Barney and Penn, Your husband and father was something special--yet he never acted as if he thought he was. You'll surely miss him, yet he has left a lasting impact on each of you, on Spokane, his industry and so many others he touched--like me. Big hugs,
