Not sure what to say?

John was a very good friend and great help and i am thankful for the long friendship with is Amily to whom we send our deepest condolences Fabienne Corlobé

May John rest in peace. I got to know him and Joy at St. Michael's in downtown Portland. He was involved in various parish projects and cared about the parish and me. I was privileged to know him. My prayers to Joy, Christina and other family memories!

It was a great joy to get to know John and Joy these last few months by bringing them Holy Communion in their home. John was always thoughtful and appreciative and had much to share on his life journey. I so enjoyed our conversations. In last visit , he had just received the report that his blood count wasn't good, believing it was an indicator that his battle with cancer was coming to an end. He showed no fear and was comforted by the constant presence of his family who loved and cared...

I have known John since I was in the first grade and he in the second at Saint Monica's School in Coos Bay, Oregon. John was smart, brilliant, a lot of fun to be around. He was nice, had a good sense of humour and was considerate. He was a fine friend. He dedicated his life to helping others and was a real role model as a husband, father, and friend. We will sure miss him. We grieve together with his family for their loss.

I wanted to send a note in the memory of my deceased sister, Carole, who loved the Flaxel family and would have been very sad to have read this. It was long ago but it was impressive how she held you all in very high regards until she could no longer communicate.

My deepest condolences to the Flaxel family. Whether he knew it or not, Dr. Flaxel has been, for me, a mentor and set a positive example of a man successful in life, family and spirt which I still hold with me to this day. 40 years ago "The Doc", as we called him, was instrumental in the success of Billy Rancher and the URG's. Those five years with the band changed the lives of all of us for the better. It wouldn't have been as good as it was without Dr. Flaxel, a good man who will be...

To Billy and all of the Flaxel family, My wife , Eileen, and I wish to extend our sincere condolences at the passing of Dr. Flaxel, and thanks, to him and you all for his generosity over the years in support of Billy Rancher and the Unreal Gods. He will be missed. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Alf Delia (Rider) and Eileen Delia
