Dear Sue,
I have enjoyed the many stories you have told of your dad over the years. I always hear the pride in your voice. He has lived a long and full life. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Cousins,
Thank you so much for calling me about Uncle Jack's passing. I will always remember him and how joyous he made my childhood. He was so kind to have called me when my husband passed. I am sorry I couldn't have gotten there to see him before his death. I was planning on seeing him this coming summer. I knew of his bravery during the war and it is so nice to see it in print so all could know what a brave man he was.
I shall add him to my prayers not that he needs...

Jan, Sue, Don, My love and prayers to you and your family at this time. May your memories comfort you as you grieve. I have fond memories of you and your family.
Love, Patty

Dear Jan, Sue & Don,

We are so sorry we couldn't be there for Uncle Jack's services. We, too, have one of his famous frogs in our garden (along with assorted other critters he made for us)! My children and grandchildren all have concrete bunnies, too! I remember so well Uncle Jack's visits to us on Horseshoe Island; always with a smile and treats for us kids. And oh how he and Grumpy made us laugh! God has his hands full now!!!

Lots of love,

Uncle Jack,

What a man who did lived in the greatest generation. I will always remember how quiet he was but was full of wit. My last meeting with him was at my mother’s calling hours. He was sharp as a tack and there was no outwitting him. He has touched my life with his integrity and spirit.

He is now with the whole Fleming gang. I am sure the stories are endless and the debates even louder. Everyone in our family should remember this. Wasn’t our family weddings...

Dear Sue, Jan and Don, We are sorry to hear of your dad's passing. His military service testifies that he was truely a brave man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bill and Peggy Huntley

Jan Sue and Don
He was the last of the Flemings. A generation is gone and will be sorely missed. I remenber the Christmas dinners at Grand Ma Flemings. The racous wakes and the all around great times we had as a very extended family.

He was a brave man and one more gone from the greatest generation

Dear Jan, Sue, and Don,

Uncle Jack was a wonderful man. I grew up listening to all the stories of when Uncle Jack and my Mom were growing up with all of our other aunts and uncles. To this day, they bring a smile and often giggles.
In front of my house, I have a concrete frog that Uncle Jack gave me when I was 12. He gave one to my daughter when she was 4. Everytime we see them, we think of him!
All my love during this most difficult time. May there be comfort...
