Remembering your loss at this anniversary of Eric's passing. My husband and I were just talking yesterday about the positive impact Eric had on our daughters' life, both of us feeling that he and her fiance were the only ones who could get through to her and help her leave behind a life of addiction. I thank God that Eric was her friend and am so sorry that he is not here to celebrate these happy days with us and see how wonderful she is doing today.

Though you don't know me, your son made a difference in my daughter's life. Eric drove her to work at PIC. Eric cared about her like a little sister and called me when she was in trouble so that I could get her help. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me and in my estimation, Eric was a hero.
