Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. My name is Beverly Cheek Strubel. I am the 9 year old girl he removed the bullet from. I remember he was such a soft spoken, compassionate Doctor. I never forgot him and have told the story many times and how ahead of his time he was. I'm sure I am alive and healthy today because of him. I used to send Christmas cards,etc. but lost track over the years. Please know he made a big impression on a little girl one time! My thoughts and prayers...

I was an R.N. at Bryn Mawr Hospital when Dr.
Flick was practicing surgery. He was well
respected by the nurses, was always repectful
with us and I liked him very much.
