Not sure what to say?

John was always nice to me as I grew up whenever our paths crossed and I always appreciated that. He was "no nonsense", always meant business and talked fast, but knew how to treat people, with which I could identify. I think of him from time to time.

i saw John only on rare occasion growing up but when I did, he was always nice to me when I was with my parents. In later years I always admired his business sense and his matter-of-fact way about him. I will think of him fondly on 12/27...so close to Christmas.

I was very sorry to hear of John's death-- he was an exemplary citizen of Hampden. I was a classmate of his all the way through-- Hampden schools and Classical High. My condolences to you and to all your family.

Sheila, I just found out from Dick Jonelis yesterday that John had passed. I'm surprised and saddened at the same time. The relationship with your family goes back to before I was born and as you know had changed from one type to another. I always admired & respected John for his no nonsense savvy and enjoyed his wit & dry sense of humor whenever we should meet. I regret those meetings have now come to an end, but I'll always remember them from years past.

The staff of American Cancer Fund™ at www.AmericanCancerFund.org is sorry to hear of John's passing. We have just received a memorial donation in his name and our sincere condolences go out to his family.

Sheila, Kathy and "Woodie", we were so surprised to hear of John's passing this morning He was one of our "earliest" visitors when we moved to Ames Road in 1966 and our paths crossed many, many times over the years. Our sincere condolences over your loss. Peace.
