I just heard the sad news long after Jack’s loss. Jack stood up for me as a groomsman in my wedding . He was a dear loyal friend with a sense of humor that always kept me smiling.
His knowledge extended way beyond his study of history. He knew a lot about a lot. In all the years that I was privileged to know Jack, I never once heard him say a bad word about anyone. He was a good natured loving friend and I will miss him. On behalf of my family , We say Jack our dear friend RIP

We had some wonderful times playing baseball and hockey games with Pete Byrne, Dickey Jaris and Johnny Vincent in the late 60s and 1970. A great guy to be with, always competitive but always great friend.
