Not sure what to say?

I know I'm almost 4 years late, but only today discovered of his passing. He married my husband and I back in Sept 2000 at his home. We're still married, 19 yrs later. We appreciated and my parents greatly appreciated his being able to marry us. We're sorry to hear about his passing. Many prayers and God bless.

Lannie, thinking of you today and wanted to let you know I understand your loss. Prayers for your peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.

Judge Forbes was a pillar in Arlington and our city was blessed to have him in it. My sympathy and prayers are with his family. He will be missed.

I met Judge John and Lannie Forbes one year ago, but feel as though it has been much longer. He took so much interest in others, and you could feel God's love through him. I feel truly blessed to have known Judge Forbes, and will look forward to seeing him again one day. Lannie, you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. You all are loved dearly!! God be with you during this difficult time. May you rest in peace , my dear friend.

Lannie, We were so sorry to hear about John. You and John were always a cheerful break in so many dull "political" get togethers. The picture of the 4 of us at some party is one of our favorites. We are now living in the country outside of Morgan Mill, so we hardly make it back to Arlington. God bless you. Gary and Bettye

Judge Forbes married me to Jack and he never forgot that day. He commented on it every time we met over the next 35 years. Realtors loved his court because he was always the same: impartial & fair, always the gentleman judge. He was a great contributor to our community. I will miss him. Pamela Bookout

John Forbes was our good friend for over fifty years. We send our heartfelt condolences to Dear Lannie and the family. May your wonderful memories of John comfort you and may God give you peace. Love, Roy and Gayle English

From all of your Brothers at Arlington Lodge, you will be missed greatly. Our prayers and support are offered to your family.
