Not sure what to say?

I just wanted to add a new entry, because as time passes my memories of John don't fade and only grow fonder and remind me of the ever fun times of "The Machine Shop" days tending bar together and John's ever present, all-ways peaceful demeanor and charming wit and soothing smile...and I found photos of John that we took when he visited me in 1986 and I added them to this guest book...as they make me laugh and smile in comfort looking at them as I hope they do for others. I still and...

I found these pix recently of John visiting me in 86...if anyone wants copy of any hit me at [email protected] I'll be happy to scan individually and send to you, as pix are very nice, reminds me of how much he is truly missed! Regards Coss Crimi

We were googling John when we found this (that's how much we liked him - that 20 years later we're still thinking about him!) Me and my friend Suzie knew him back in the early Boston days - in fact as we were searching were were laughing about how he used to do the trick with the cigarette in his mouth! (While playing bass nonetheless!) We are so sad to come across this - just wanted to show that he's still remembered!!

It's been Many, Many years, but the memories will always be Happy ones.. My deepest sympathy to John's Family and ALL his friends.
Sincerly, Pearl Sullivan (Williams)

What a smile, what a presence! A great musician.
When I first met all the RiffRaff guys in that cinderblock bunker on the Northside, it was so cool. Such beautiful energy. Great band, great guys. I haven't seen Forch since I don't know when, (Machine Shop?,) but I'll miss him.

I would like to offer some brief thoughts and perspective for all those who knew John.

We had some very interesting conversations in recent time over life, and beyond. John was a thoughtful and thinking man. The topic of "eternity" was ever-present with him.

My prayer is that we too, like John, will see the shortness of our days and fully grasp the hope of the life to come.

May God's blessing be with all of John's family and friends.
Peace.

my brother in syracuse sent me an email on john's passing which made me very sad and condolences to the family. i have known him from my syracuse days and then boston - i love live music and he played with some really good bands. my funniest memory of him i have recounted many times to friends is like 18 yrs. ago he drove back to syracuse from boston both ways for christmas in this ugly bright orange budget van and he talked the WHOLE way and by the time i got back to boston i have to say i...

John was a sweet and gentle soul... a gentlman all-ways. I will remember with fondness our days working at The Machine Shop...he will be missed...my condolences to his friends and family...Peace be with you Johnny drastic!

I was sorry to hear about Johnny from my sister Carol, in Syracuse. I remember him from my childhood and hanging with Diane on Aberdeen Terrace as well as Johnny being a friend of my older sister. I called Les (my husband) when I saw Coop's name as he was close to him. Rob, we were both sorry to hear about Johnny and our thoughts and prayers go out to all who love and will miss him.
