His father, a member of the school board, was instrumental in hiring my father as superintendent of Sugar Creek schools. The two families were friends for two generations. I taught with John from 1968-1972 at Continental High School. There was never a better person. While I haven´t seen him in more than 40 years, I will never forget his sense of humor and kindness. My condolences to the family.
