Not sure what to say?

I came across the name of Traverse City, Michigan and remembered John had gone there after CBC. So I searched for him and came across this obituary. John was an incredible guy, smart, sincere, a with an immense sense of humor. Just before we were both graduating, he attacked me from behind in the CBC student lounge. In great fun. We wrestled all over the lounge knocking over chairs and maybe a table or two. I remember there were some students who were touring the school. Mostly girls who...

To the family of John Fowler--I know that you don't know me, but years ago, I took several terms of Hebrew from John--before he was married. I took it at First Assemly of God in Saginaw and worked at Valley Bible Institute with Ginny Defoe. I loved the classes and John--he was such a gentle soul! I just noticed through Facebook that he went to be with the Lord and just wanted to add my condolences at your loss. He was a blessing to me! Aileen Kushon, Saginaw, MI

Cheryl and family -

We have great memories and appreciated John so much as our youth minister at Bethel Assembly in Saginaw Michigan during mid 80's. He was so influential in mine and many young peoples lives, always being so sincere in his love for the Lord and an example to us. As the news of his passing has spread, please know that there are lots of warm thoughts and prayers being extended to you and your family.

Cheryl,

So sorry we did not hear of John's death till the evening of the funeral. We will be praying for you and your children. John was used of God in strong ways in my youth and Chris and I both have fond memories of time we spent together. We pray the indescribable peace and provision of God are yours in the days to come. With much love, The Rainey family
