Liz, Pete, and Pat,
During our brief time as teachers in Frankenmuth, we knew your family at school and through church. John was in my husband John’s middle school class, and Patrick was in mine. I taught first grade with your mom and received a daily Fox children update from her each morning. You were all so dearly loved. We were very saddened by the news that John has passed away and that your circle of siblings is now missing a link. It’s a life changing loss that puts things out...

My thoughts and prayers are with you Liz, Pete, and Pat.

I’ve been at a loss since I received word of John’s passing on Monday morning. John was an intricate piece of the machine we call Drost. He was a one of a kind. I appreciate all the contributions he made to Drost and to each one of us. Rest in peace John.

John was truly one of the great guys that I've been blessed to know. I moved to Frankenmuth the summer before my sophomore year and he was one of the first classmates that I'd met. I think back to all of the great times we had and friendships we made. He will be dearly missed. Our deepest sympathies to Lori, and John's sons, and siblings, and grandchildren, and the rest of his family, and all of us fortunate to be his friend. Rest in peace my brother.

I am so grateful for the many memories I have of John, our friend group, his family, and the many good times we enjoyed together. I feel blessed to have had a nice, long conversation with him last week. He was always the one who planned get-togethers for a group of old friends. John had the nicest, most sincere personality, and he truly cared about others and what they were going through. I would like to honor him by emulating his empathy for others. My deepest sympathies to Lori, Liz,...
