John was born on December 19, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to the late John Frangipane & Nettie DiMaggio Frangipane. He was a graduate of Grady High School, class of 1960. Following graduation, John joined the U.S. Army, serving proudly from August 1960 through his Honorable Discharge as a PVT in June of 1962. After his service to the country, John went to work as an electrician & member of the I.B.E.W. Local #25 in Long Island, New York, where he specialized as a telephony technician for over 30 years. During that time, John married Diane Stroncone on May 2, 1982 in Elmont, New York and they went on to share a wonderful life together. They moved to Palm Coast in 2013 from Long Island, New York. John’s hobbies included electronic systems assembly & computers. His greatest joy though, was his family. John was part of a big family, filled with much love… he will be greatly missed by them all.
