JOHN R. FREAS, age 96, entered Heaven on March 26, 2014.  Dearest beloved husband of the late Virginia (nee McCrone); loving father of John, Michael (Marilyn), Robert (Maurita), Virginia Butler (Richard), Maureen Krol (Kenneth) and Raymond (Mary Ann); loving grandfather of Christa, Valerie, Brian, Robert, Michael, Bridget, Matthew, Bradley, Byron, Richard, Ryan, Lauren, Jonathan and Ellen; wonderful great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Ralph Freas (deceased) (Lillian) and Mary Hynes (deceased) (Vince); dear uncle and friend to many.  WWII U.S. Army 1st Lt.  Mass of Christian Burial Monday, March 31, St. Christopher Catholic Church at 11 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. So sorry to read of Mr.Freas' passing. He was a kindly gentleman who raised a wonderful family along with his wife. My condolences to my boyhood friends and trust that their father's faith and love of people remains within their hearts.
