Dad,
You will always remain a true legacy, for those who knew you and for those of us who were blessed with you as our father.. You were a true Marine and a true Christian father.. You taught us integrity, honesty and faith. You lived your life for others, and taught all of us kids to help others..You were truely a blessing in all our lives..I feel honored to be one of 11. It is men like Mr. Freeling who set the bar high for all Marines. Most of us cannot begin to imagine the many sacrifices he willingly made for our nation, and I am sincerely grateful for his service. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. Dad was a special person in so many ways. He is now with the family and friend who have gone before him, but will be missed terribly by those of us who are left behind.

It is a true honor to have known Jack--a great person and great American. I hear that the gates of heaven are guarded by Marines. As Jack was a WWII Marine Raider I'm sure he will be on the front line. Sympathy and prayers to his family.

I worked with Jack at Rite-Style Optical. Jack was a person that touched your life in so many ways. His kindness and knowledge was - well wonderful. He will be very missed by people that knew and loved him for years, or even just a few years. Jack went straight to heaven. He was a true American!

Jack was a man of character, honor and principle. He suffered the loss of two wives and helped raise eleven children. Jack was always the first to volunteer when someone needed help. The world is decidedly less without him.
