Not sure what to say?

We are saddened to hear, belatedly of David's passing. He was always the kind, gentle man so many have written about. As a child I remember his visits from Ft. Hood, TX while stationed there and his funny stories of his attempts to fit into Army life. My Mother adored him as she did Twila, Wes & Winnie, Pearl and later Ferne who was such a compliment to David's gentleness. I regret not knowing the later side of David and all of you there. Our hearts and prayers are with you all and we do...

I only briefly met John once but remeber him well from Backyard Farmer, and thought he was a wonderful Extension Expert and real servant to the people of the state. Now I read of his combat experience in WWII which only heightens my appreciation. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I was greatly saddened to hear of John Furrer's passing. Many wonderful childhood memories of his engagement in Warren church, Keim Hall and East Campus social groups and his dry sense of humor. He is greatly missed.

Ferne and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Ferne & Family. We always enjoyed viisiting and working with John throughout our Extension work. He will be missed.

I knew Mr. Furrer from a long time ago and will really miss him. I enjoyed seeing him on Backyard Farmer. He was a fine man.

My son, Tim Klipp is a friend of Megan's. Tim is honored that you have asked him to sing for her grandfather's funeral. Although I don't know your family, may you feel God's comfort and everlasting peace ever more-so while you grieve.

Mr. Furrer was a fine man and a model citizen. I wish to express my sympathy to his family and my thanks for sharing him with his fellow Nebraskans.

Ferne and family,
John was a wonderful person and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I will miss Uncle David.I know he is with his brother and his other family and I know he is no longer in pain.

I miss my family in Nebraska!
