I am sorry for the late condolences but I just learned of the passing of LTC Gagin. I am the Producer of the documentary film on the 65th Infantry Regiment "Borinqueneers" and had corresponded with LTC Gagin a number of times while he graciously shared his wartime experiences with me. LTC Gagin served with the Borinqueneers during the Korean War as a Second Lieutenant. The 65th was recently awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by Congress and it was my honor to have been able to send LTC...

I was saddened to hear of John's passing he and I worked together at Oakton COLLEGE AND HE WAS SENDING ME HUMORUS messages on his computer which I enjoyed receiving Sadly missed Bea Cornelissen
