John Perez Galindo

John and I met while we worked together in plumbing in the early '80s. In my whole carrier in the plumbing trade, I enjoyed going to work with him more than anyone I ever worked with. John was very good at the trade but back then you could tell that he wanted to do something different which was to help people in a way that wasn't going to happen in the plumbing trade. I admire the fact that he was willing to leave a carrier that he was good at to pursue the passion he had to help people....

I knew of John but had not met him personally until my sister and I were guests in the home of John and Nancy in 2017. In the short time I was in his presence I was impressed with how down-to-earth he was; he was genuine, soft-spoken, gentle, compassionate, devoted to his family, committed to his patients, wise, and with the most delightful quick-wit. I knew I would like to have been his friend!
