John lead such a busy and active life... He shared his Christian love with everyone... He led by example... He was never seen without his camera in his later years.. He shared many a picture with his friends... He was truly a friend and a blessing throughout his life... He faithfully would call my parents every other weekend to see how they were doing... Thanks John for being such a good friend and...

Our sincerst sympathy to your family at this time. We wish we had a picture to post- but whenever we saw John he was the one taking the pictures--- What a wonderful man who we cherish the pleasure of knowing. We are sorry for your loss.

I grew up at Holy Spirit where John was always there contributing in some way. He was a Sunday School teacher for teenagers which is quite an accomplishment. I still remember a story he shared. Find peace.

Our most sincere sympathies to the Gallagher family on their loss. Parents may pass on but they always live on in your hearts.

Dearest friends, my wife and I want to express our sympathies and send our love in your time of loss. I will always remember John for all that he did for Holy Spirit Church and Sunday School. When I began to serve there in 1997, he was one of my strongest supporters and I always appreciated his confidence in me during my tenure. We will all miss him. May God bless you and keep John in his everlasting arms of love. -- Pastor Bob Kaltenbaugh
