Not sure what to say?

I´ll always miss my dear friend and confidant who was the finest judge I ever met. I also missed him on every hike after he passed.

I had the pleasure of working with John at the Judicial Arbiter Group for a number of years. He was a fine human being and an excellent judge. Elayne and family, our thoughts are with you.

To the Gallagher Family,

I met Judge initially as a Board member for Workout, Ltd. I always found him to be kind, engaging, and insightful. We later found out that we both attended Boys Academys in the Boston, MA area. We will all miss his presence, but we will always be held my his spirit and the impacts he made on our lives and the lives of other's.

God Speed Judge!

It was my privilege to serve on the Workout, Ltd Board of Directors with John for many years. Due in no small part to his efforts, Workout was able to transform the lives of thousands of children and return millions of dollars in restitution to our community. John's contribution to the people of our community is inestimable

What a great husband, father, and friend you, and we, have lost. Some of my finest memories happened while our famalies were together. I will always miss him. He taught me so much in his quiet gentle way. Now I will cherish the memories.

To Elaine and family:
Our hearts and prayers go out to you as you mourn the death of John. We have thought of you often during this past week and will be there in spirit as you celebrate his life on January 5th. With our condolences and love, Norm and Cathy

When I was first Married my Wife had a Son by a pervious marriage. I did the paper work and stood before Judge Gallagher for the hearing. The Judge allowed me to adopt Jeff and today he is a fine young Man. Thank you, your Honor!

Judge Gallagher, a gentlemanand and a fair, well liked and respected, judge, was a model for many I learned while I was employed as law librarian and briefly as his clerk at the El Paso County courthouse. I am sorry that we have all lost such a fine, memorable man.
