Not sure what to say?

They say a person continues to live on when people talk about them and remember them. This will always be the case with John Garner. Many people, including myself, will carry his memory in our hearts forever.

John was someone you just cannot forget. I will always remember him as a kind person with quick wit and fun to be around. I needed to go to Burr Oak a couple of weeks ago and I thought of John, his sister and parents....such a nice family.

It hurts my heart to think he is no longer with us. I will always remember him as a smiling, kind, and a very neat person. He very positively impacted my life a very long time ago.
Blessings to his family who I know he loved with all his heart.

Dear family,
John and I dated back in high school. I have not seen him in so many years and a friend just now told me of his passing. My heart hurt, as I am most certain yours is hurting also. John was a fun, kind person to be around. He was a good athlete and a friend to all. I am so very sorry for your loss....the heavens will receive another angle for sure. God bless and keep all of you. And, I am so sorry my condolence is so late.

He will be missed! I respected his wisdom and knowledge and that great voice!!!!

Hi. I was in Mr. Garner's first year of teaching, 5th grade class at Park Community School. He always used to say "by gol". I remember him so very well. I thought he was the greatest! I remember his navy blue Lemans that I really thought was cool. I was very saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. Hugs to Kathy and the family.

Kathy, Greg and Julie. I just found out about Johns' passing. My condolences to you all. It sure has been a hard year for the families on Melody this year. May you know, that we all care, and miss you.

Dear Kathy and Family,

Sorry to hear about John, though we haven't been in touch for years. I always considered John a friend from his days in Burr Oak, his first shop in Sturgis and some adventures out west. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
