I am sorry for your loss. I am a stranger, but I wanted to reach out because I saw the memorial along the trail through the Tinley Creek Forest preserves. Mr. Garrity must have been a runner, which makes him part of the runner community. Please accept my condolences.

My condolences to Donna and family. We had many good times together in our youth! We always respected John for his honesty, work ethic and intelligence. I am sorry I did not get more time with him in recent years. We will fondly remember John.

Donna, I haven't really kept in touch since High School although I did see John every so often and all he spoke about was you his best friend and the kids and grand kids. He was truly a great husband, friend, father and grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered. My prayers go out to you and your entire family.
