Not sure what to say?

Dear Margaret (Mrs. Garvey to me), Kim, Gina and Lisa,

I only heard about this today and I am very sorry for your loss. John and yourself were very important to me when I was a teenager and I have thought about you may times over the years.

Kim, Gina and Lisa,

I understand how hard it is to lose your father at any age and I know that he will always be with you!! Remember how proud of all of you that he is.

You will be in our prayers.

Dear Margaret,
Just received a note from Ellen telling us of the passing of John. We are so very sorry. You have our deepest thoughts and prayers. We'll always remember John and Bob caroling thru the Robidoux Hotel at Christmas time and the fun we had going to Hot Springs-stopping to pick up black pots.
Love, Bob and Carolyn Schroers

Dear Margaret & Girls,
Gary and I are at a loss for words to express the fondness we had for John and you. Our times together were some years ago, but never forgotton. Over the years you ment a lot to our children also. John was always there with a helping hand. It is with great sadness that we write this. We were unable to come to the funeral, but want you to know our thoughts and prayers were with you all that day. John's smile and fun-loving ways are a great way to remember him. Gary...

Margaret, Kim, Jim and family:

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I do not take the Mpls. paper and only found out today that you had lost your dear husband, father and grandfather.

My fondest memories of John were when our girls ( Sue and Kim) were in high school and we attended so many functions that our girls were in. Those were happy memories. I know that John was so proud of his girls.

May your many happy memories and the love of...

Aunt Margaret, Kim, Gina, Lisa, and Families:
May God comfort you all in this inconsolable time. Uncle Johnny was a true gem -- I will miss the ornery sparkle in his eye, the gentleness that was his special gift. He has now achieved the true blessing that our life in God holds promise of, and I know that he and Grandma, Mom, and Aunt Gerry are revelling in each others' presence once again. May God bless you all and keep you close. I love you all.
