It was cold in the Berkshires in the fall and winter and I enjoyed my time outdoors, however having a nice place to go in the afternoon and early evenings and on weekends was excellent and often I would travel to the Pittsfield Boys Club on Melville Street for many activities including basketball. Garz was my baseball coach in the Pittsfield Little League 35 years ago. I've got great memories of him. He was a stand up guy that knew how to coach, and knew how to teach kids. I've thought about him a lot over the years.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry for you loss of John...........we hung around before he went in the service . H e was a fun guy. Hadn't see him in years.
