John and I were very close and worked for many years together at Provincetown Seafood Market. He was a "Retailer" and I was a "Wholesaler" as he called us. He would often tease me about that. I knew and worked with John for many years in Provincetown at Matt's Fish Market, we had many, many laughs and fun making together. I can remember the first time he showed me how to shuck little necks for half shell service and how to tell a fewmalw obster from a studd, as he would say.
