Not sure what to say?

Dear George, Helen, John and Anastasia, We are all thinking of you and praying for you and your family at this difficult time of loss. Your parents were bright lights in this world, and my parents (also such) enjoyed knowing them and you all as peers in medicine and patients and friends in the community. God bless and keep you. love Dr. Kathy Heinsohn

John,
I am happy to have been a classmate of yours at MUSC. Thank you for providing anesthesia for myself and my wife on several occasions, also for providing excellent care for many of my patients here in Charleston.
When we both returned to Charleston to practice medicine, you have always been someone I could count on.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear George, Helen, John, and Anastasia,
I am so so sorry. Your parents were WONDERFUL and so very much fun!!!!
I remember coming to Greek Easter dinner at the folly beach house and Dr. John seasoning the chicken on the grill with the seasoning from his special hospital bag. Clamped off the tubing with a hemastat. What a guy!
Praying for you all

Helen, May the love and faith keep shining with you and your family. I pray for God's comfort and strength to surround all of you.
Love,
Annie Buxton Mii

Fond memories and love for him. Worked with him at St Francis recovery. Prayers for your family

Memory eternal, Dr. John Gatgounis. A brilliant and accomplished soul but his kindness, service, generosity and humility shined even brighter. Many fond memories. I also remember being at Folly Beach as a child when he gave CPR and saved a child who almost drowned not far from my yiayia Virginia's beach home. It was a moment I will never forget. "I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you". John 14:18. Having both parents who have passed into eternity is a sorrowful tunnel, but they...

May you have peace in knowing that the love he shared will be with you all forever. He was truly a gentleman everyday where ever he went. I had the opportunity to meet him while I was working at Roper Hospital in the operating room and even more gratitude for having him as my anesthesiologist as a frighten patient with little hope. Blessings to the family.
