John was fun, kind and a wonderful role model. I always appreciated his kindness to my father and to me. Words are very inadequate to express gratitude for his life and example.

We know you are enjoying your heavenly home which is no doubt full of music! You will be missed by all of us at FOSA.

John was a great human being,so loving and giving and always had a smile. I cherish the moments since I met he and Nita and later there children. He will be greatly missed by all whom had the pleasure and honor of knowing such a great man.. Well done good and faithful servant.

I had the pleasure and privilege to know John Gauntt and Nita most of my life and to grow up with their kids in the same neighborhood and as Trinity Baptist Church members. While Chad is much younger, Mike, Ken and Linda were all great friends and some of the finest and most talented and smartest people anyone could ever know. John was always a giant in my eyes - and I will miss him until we meet again someday.

We all loved John in the office. Anna and Jenna are particularly sad to see him go. He was a great man, and will be missed by all of us.
