Mr. Gavin you are one of the greats on the big screen. As a young lad I wanted to be grow up be like you. Wow I kinda did too.

When my son graduated from St. John´s Military Academy, in 1984, John Gavin was requested by Pres.Reagan to be the speaker at the event. His speech to the young cadets was inspiring and he began his address in Spanish! This was a welcome surprise to the several young boys who were from Mexico! Since Mr. Gavin was Pres. Reagan´s current U.S. Embassador to Mexico, he was warmly welcomed by the parents of the academy graduates! My son´s photo was taken as Ambassador Gavin presented him with...

I loved John Gavin. Back Street Affair was a wonderful movie. I know he is gone now but he was a wonderful actor and leading man.

HAS BEEN A FAVORITE OF MINE FOR A LONG TIME- I ENJOYED HIS ACTING AND THOUGHT HE WAS(IS) SOOOOO HANDSOME-HE LOOKED YOUNGER THAN ME--BUT MY BIRTH YEAR IS 1944--HIS1931 WOW! SO SORRY HE IS GONE NOW- I COULD ENJOY HIS MOVIES A LONG TIME AFTER HE DIED!

Just recently watched his performances in the top movies he was in and was so impressed as he seamed so comfortable and relaxed in each. He truly was the most handsome man ever.
