To John Gavin'and family, I have always loved this handsome gentleman. watching him in the movies for years. I have seen all his movies he did with his gentle elegant manner's. How striking he was and so Handsome. There was something special about him that was intriging. John Gavin was a marvelous actor and did many many films. Very handsome and extremely dignified and intelligent. Appointed Ambassador to Mexico by President Reagan Loved his films. An overall impressive gentleman!!!

When my son graduated from St. John´s Military Academy, in 1984, John Gavin was requested by Pres.Reagan to be the speaker at the event. His speech to the young cadets was inspiring and he began his address in Spanish! This was a welcome surprise to the several young boys who were from Mexico! Since Mr. Gavin was Pres.
