While it's been 15 years since John Genzale Sr. has been managing editor at the Tribune (back when we were four dailies and before Scottsdale), it has been always a burst of upbeat energy to occasionally touch base by email with him and to hear of his good fortune and many adventures since 1992. The Hedges family Bill, Barb and Scott send much love and deep condolences to the family of JJ Ganzale. We first met the Genzale family when dad John came to work at the East Valley Tribune where Barb works. Scott played on the Young Guns with JJ and coached little league with dad John. I spoke with Scott this morning and he is having trouble believing it. He sends his heartfelt feelings of sympathy to the whole family. JJ will be missed in all our lives.
