John "Jack" GERAGHTY Jr.

As Director of Performing and Visual Arts, I worked closely with Jack during The World's Fair, Expo 74. Jack was a Vice President of Expo and in charge of Advertising and Public Relations. When we learned that with King Cole's help, The Moiseyev Dancers were coming for a week's performances in our new Opera House during one of our hotel's busiest times (they were sold out), and our Fair obligations included finding rooms for 120 performers for the week, I gave Jack and his staff 'the...

Many fond memories of working with Jack on various projects. He truly loved Spokane and all things Irish, and for whatever reason called me "Church" which was fine with me, My thoughts are with you Kerry! You made a great team!!

Jack, it was a good run, I appreciated working with you through the years, make room for me, I'm not far behind you.

Jack was one of the very few politicians I´d listen to. He was experienced; knowledgeable; made his decisions based on what was right, not political; and my dad, who worked with him at the Chronicle, told me when I ran for office he had a great deal of respect for Jack and respected him. My dad didn´t give out that kind of praise lightly.

Thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.
