Mr. Germ was a man of great integrity and compassion. When he was director of Lake County Narcotics he was very understanding and supportive when my family was going though a very difficult and complex situation. I had great respect for him and will always appreciate the support he offered me. RIH John

Prayers and thoughts to the Germ family. John was police chief when we moved into Willowick some 33 years ago, and he was a real nice person. Very personable. RIP, John. You did good.
