Our hearts go out to Janet and family on John's passing away. John was one of the most admired and memorable persons I ever met.
We met John in 1960 when we were both stationed on Guam. My wife and I were there when he and Janet were married and when Laurie was baptised. we have lots of fond memories of spending time with him.
