Not sure what to say?

Miss Vicki, Chris & Staci,

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We were just talking about him and realized not only did Valerie and I keep his books, but Curtis and Howie both cleaned parking lots for awhile when he was in need of someone. All four of us have such fond memories of him and how much he loved his family. We hope that you find comfort in the wonderful memories that he left in the heart of each one of you. He was such a great man. We will keep you in our thoughts...

Mrs. Gilbert and family,

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to you all at this time. We will so miss seeing Mr. Gilbert in the yard across the street and talking with him. We had no idea he had been sick. He was always such a joy and pleasure to talk to and a great neighbor. If you all need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call us. We love each of you.
Anthony, Laura and Gabe

Mrs. Gilbert & Family;
We just heard this morning about John's passing and are so sorry for your loss, he was so wonderful to work for and a gracious contractor. He exemplified the love of Christ in his business and at home as the both of you did when my husband did work for you. He will be sorely missed in this community and abroad even as far as Oklahoma where my husband just got back from doing work for John. I have rarely heard my husband speak so highly of anyone my husband has...

I don't know where to find the words to express my sorrow. We always looked forward to working with John, Chris, & Bo. and I hate we never got the chance to visit at each of our home towns and do something besides work. We are going to miss John but he is in the one place we all look forward to going to one day. May God give his blessing to each of you as you go through these trying times. Lee & Patte

My father was the most amazing, caring, and generous man. He never met a stranger and had a wonderful way with people. The Lord truly blessed me, because I got to be his daughter. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for his loved ones. My heart has an empty place now, but I pray that it will be filled with all of my beautiful memories with him. My son was blessed with a remarkable Paw-Paw and I will always tell him stories about him. I know that I will see my Dad again, as this is only a...

Today we have all lost a wonderful husband, father,and friend.
But just remember how lucky and blessed we all were to share in his life.
Yes he is gone but his foot prints will remain in our heart forever

Deepest sympathy to Chris and Staci with love and affection. I also send my love, affection and deepest sympathy in my husband Randolph Scott Gilbert, and Hayley Gilbert; John Ray Gilbert's Son and Grandaughter
