Not sure what to say?

I work at glen riddle nursing home i became very close with John very quickly he was the first resident that gave me a chance even when I messed up so many times with his orders he never gave up on me. He always told me to slow down because he could tell i was rushing and so stressed out. John as soon as I walked in the door John would always ask me if I was doing good school and I would be completely honest with him even if he wouldn't be happy with the answer. He always said school comes...

When I found out John passed away, at work one day, my heart completely broke. I was shocked to hear such awful news that day. I just remembered John as someone you could talk to about anything!. John was the type of person to make work better, he would greet me everyday while I was coming in. He wouldn’t just say” hello”, but he would say my name and have a conversation with me. John was also amazing to the residents, example one of his best friends here Dorothy. You would see John wheeling...

Our deepest condolences to Francine and the whole family. John had a heart of gold and a sense of humor to match. He was Union through and through and showed by his example what solidarity with his fellow workers really meant. RIP brother.

Our sympathies to the family. Thank you John for the great fishing trips. Gloria White, FLYGIRLS Fishing Club.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of my friend and Brother John . He was a great APWU leader in Philadelphia . RIP art doherty

John was a good union brother and a true friend. He loved to fight on behalf of other people and he knew how to have a good time. He was good people. We'll miss him.

I am deeply saddened by John's passing. He along with Eric Wilson were my fishing buddies. Goodbye John.

John was the long time APWU Motor Vehicle Service Craft Director of the Philadelphia Area Local. John always there to help all employees as the Union Director, no matter what they needed. The Motor Vehicle employees will be eternally grateful for all the achievements while John was the Craft Director. RIP "My Brother" Your Leadership will never be forgotten.

John was a special man who was always looking out for those less fortunate than he was. He recognized needs in others and would be sure those needs were met. He was kind and gracious to all.
John was very bright and knew a lot about various topics and would share his wisdom and knowledge with everyone who to listen. I loved sitting and talking to him and would leave each encounter wiser than I was before.
Though out of sight, he will remain in the hearts and memories of all...
