John Allen Gill (or JAG as I liked to call him), was a profound mentor and a dear friend. He was one of the brightest and most insightful engineers I ever met. I owe the inception of my career to him and to others; but, John most of all. These were the days when the company was still Avtron. With the wisdom the past affords, it proved the greatest space I ever knew a workplace might be. The world is much less without you John. I will continue to think of you often.
