“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.” John C. Giordano, 59, was granted access to the eternal slumber on Sunday, April 18th, 2021. His parents Giuseppe and Jane gave John the tools, early in life, which helped him become a master Carpenter, devoted brother, conscientious neighbor, and the achievement he was most proud of: Fatherhood. Survived by his brothers Frank and Jimmy, as well as his sisters Annie and Lisa, John joins his brothers, Joey, Afonso, and Mario as they watch over family and friends. John lost countless jobs and opportunities making sure his son always came first. One example; John lost his job, needing to take time off for his son’s asthma. Seamlessly, he found a place for both he and his son to stay, while searching for a new job and making sure his son could breathe. John was an expert at never losing perspective on what truly held value in his life: Family. Thank you to teaching us what in life should always hold meaning. You will forever live in our hearts. John’s visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 4:00 - 7:00pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
