Not sure what to say?

I just learned of John´s passing from a mutual friend, Billy. John and I were friend and co-workers during our college years and beyond. John was the heart of our friend group and we enjoyed camping, watching his band and general good hearted mischief. John was a loyal friend and had a razor intellect. Always interesting and a true treasured friend We will miss you and may you be at peace my friend Mark

I had no idea. I just found out today by googling his name. I knew he didn't want to socialize since our friend Chris passed. I tried to reach out to his brother, no response. John was my musical collaborator from 1984-2010. We wrote dozens of songs together. He was a great writer. He thought he was the black sheep of his family, but in reality, he was great. I'll miss you brother. Rest in Peace with God ..
