Mr. Glackin, best teacher I ever had. He kept me engaged with his exciting and passionate way of teaching! I thrived in his class and will always be thankful. May God Bless his soul.

As my children get older i started thinking about the impact good teachers have on us. I immediately thought about Mr Glackin. He made learning fun and encouraged great conversations. One of the best teachers i learned from. May he rest in Peace

Mr. Glackin was one of those people who, if you are lucky, you get to meet during your journey in life. I had the privilege of being in his class and although I may not have truly appreciated his gifts at the time (Freshman year of 77), I began to see how amazing he was over time. His words of wisdom, his humor, his methods of reaching students and his advice. Every day of my 4 years he called me by the color of my shirt except for the day I asked him to sign my senior yearbook. He wrote...

I had a dream about Mr. Glackin. HE was my high school US History teacher. I gave this man a run for his money but he was an amazing teacher. Just his tactics and teaching style. You will be missed.

One of the nicest people at Hillside High School. I know Patrick will miss you, but the extra years you had with him Mary was waiting for you. Rest in Peace you are one that will be missed here on Earth. You were loved by parents, students and staff.
