Not sure what to say?

Dear Mike and family,

Although I never actually had the opportunity to meet your father in person, I have for many years felt like I knew him because of you--your often humorous but always insightful and sometimes even pointed stories about him brought him to life and made me appreciate him all the more. I am very sorry for your loss because I empathize so well with what you said about not knowing any different in terms of having a loving and always dependable father--I know that...

Mike,
Please know our prayers are with you in the recent loss of your dad. Words are never adequate enough to suppress the grief that comes to bear when we lose loved ones, especially our parents. Find comfort and encouragement from God's Word and in the assurance that you will be reunited one day with your dad at the throne of Jesus.

Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts John Glenn was one of those person. I worked with John Glenn many years in OMMCS and I found him to be geniune in his talk and words of encouragements. A person full of fun, laughter and care for people. May the blessings and peace of God rest within you (Barbara, Mitch and Mike). He will see you through these dark days.

In thoughts and prayers Edward and Emma Moore

Though I was able to correspond with John and Barbara infrequently over the years I was able to visit with them last in 1910. John was a unique individual and was a joy and a delight to everyone he met. I pray that Barbara and all of John's family will find comfort in knowing that John is with God now but left an...

I felt like I knew John Glenn just by listening to Mike's stories of him in church on Sundays at BBC. I know he will be missed on this earth but welcomed with open arms in his new heavenly home. Thoughts and prayers to the whole Glenn family.
