John Berkshire Glimpse II

John Glimpse, my mentor, my trainer my friend
a man with a talent to teach people and train horses
firm yet always patient and kind
He taught me the skills I needed to drive and never once did he get angry, not once
even after he told me what to do and how to do a gazillion times
I would cry and tell him I quit I'll never be good enough...I'd give him the reins and he'd smile and drive for awhile than hand them back and repeat for the gazillionth time the same thing...

I can't believe it's been a year that you've been gone. I keep expecting that phone call from you. Or I will think I need to call and catch up and then I remember....

So many good times we all shared, John! On horseback, in dance halls, on skiis. Had not seen you since you and Kathy moved away, but always remembered you warmly. We all had a blast at the stables!

My condolences are extended as you mourn the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort and strength to cope during this trying time. (Psalm 90:10)

John, I will miss you, there are a lot of good memories from a lot of years down the road, and I know your "entry fee is paid."
